Are you planning a trip to San Diego? Are you confined to a wheelchair? If so, I highly recommend The Town & Country Resort and Convention Center. Their wheelchair accessible room was the best I've ever stayed in. Go to www.towncountry.com and check it out.

AN URGENT MESSAGE

I'm sure all of you have noticed a sign posted by an elevator that states, "IN CASE OF FIRE DO NOT USE ELEVATOR." For many of you that are wheelchair bound, use a walker, or a scooter and can't use the stairs, I strongly recommend you make sure you have a way to get out, if you are on other than the ground floor, in case there is a fire.

For years, I like so many of you, have seen this sign and thought I would never be in the position of being "stuck;" but, it finally happened to me. When the fire alarm went off I was on the third floor and I had no way to evacuate. Believe me, this experience made my heart skip an extra beat.

PLEASE CHECK OUT YOUR SURROUNDINGS. IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!  Blessings, Sharon
